The directors of the National Agency of Electrical Energy (ANEEL) approved, ata public meeting held today (April 17th), the tariff adjustment of the energy distributorNova Palma Power Plant (Usina Hidrelétrica Nova Palma Ltda). The newtariffs will take effect next Thursday (April 19th) for 14,000 consumer units located in thecities of Faxinal do Soturno, Nova Palma, Dona Francisca, Ivorá, Silveira Martins, São João do Polêsine e Restinga Seca and parts of the cities of Santa Maria and Júlio de Castilhos, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
The average effect to be paid by the captive consumers of energy distributed by Nova Palma is of 3.6%.
