The National Agency of Electrical Energy (ANEEL) promotes on Thursday (April 19th) public hearing in Nova Friburgo  (RJ) to introduce the proposal to the preliminary index of the third periodic tariff revision of distributor Energisa Nova Friburgo (ENF).

The session will be held at 2:30 pm at Câmara de Dirigentes Lojistas (Fernando Bizzoto St, 36, Downtown). The public hearing, conducted by Agency Director Romeo Donizete Rufino, aims to collect contributions from consumers and representatives of public and private institutions, consumer protection entities, community associations and other civil society groups, for the revision process of the concessionaire.

ANEEL's proposal to revise the ENF anticipates an average increase of 1.66% on the tariffs paid by consumers served by the utility. The distributor provides electricity to 86,000 consumer units located in the city of Nova Friburgo (RJ). The tariff revision is foreseen in the concession contracts and is intended to balance tariffs with basis on the investments received by companies focused on the provision of distribution services and the coverage of expenses recognized by ANEEL.
