This Friday (20/4), the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) will hold a public hearing in Guarapuava (PR) to present the proposal with the preliminary index for the third periodic tariff review for Companhia Força e Luz do Oeste (CFLO).
The session will be held at 8:00 am in the Guarapuava Municipal Chamber (located at Rua Pedro Alves, number 431, Downtown). The hearing, conducted by Agency director, André Pepitone da Nóbrega, aims to gather contributions from consumers and public and private institution representatives, consumer defense entities, neighborhood associations and other segments of civil society for the utility’s review process.
ANEEL’s proposal for CFLO’s review projects an average increase of 4.96% for the tariffs of consumers served by the utility.The distributor provides electricity to 49.9 thousand consumer units in the municipality of Guarapuava (PR).The documents related to the proposal are available on the "Consumer Space" profile, at Hearings/Consultations/Forum on the www.aneel.gov.br website.
The tariff review is projected in concession contracts with the objective of obtaining equilibrium in the tariffs based on the remuneration of company investments geared towards providing distribution services and covering expenses effectively recognized by ANEEL.It is applied to distribution utilities every four years, on average.
