The board of the National Agency of Electrical Energy (ANEEL) approved, at a meeting last Tuesday (April 17th), a regulatory resolution to improve the regulation on transfer of corporate control of concessionaires, permittees and commissioned companies delivering services and electricity facilities.
The resolution aims to simplify the operational procedures required for the transfer of control of independent autonomous producers of non-hydro sources. The simplification of procedures implies the execution of the operation system previously approved (with waiver of the previous procedure, i.e., the transfer is implemented and monitored thereafter).
The norm improves the definition of the corporate control concept for regulatory purposes, with the aim of enabling the controller to be identified by ANEEL at any time, based on the previously established concept.
The draft resolution was in the audience from 25/10/2011 to 15/12/2011. During the period, the Agency received 93 contributions from 19 participants.
