The Hydroelectric Company of São Francisco (CHESF) also won the Lot B at the Transmission Auction No. 03/2012, conducted by the National Agency of Electrical Energy (ANEEL) on Friday (April 20th), with the amount of R $ 12,115,464, representing a discount of 13% compared to the Allowed Annual Revenue (AAR) provided by the Agency (in the amount of R $ 13,925,833). AAR is the amount that the entrepreneur is granted with for the provision of transmission services from the date of entry into commercial operationof the facility.
Lot B is formed by the following transmission lines: Mossoró II and IV, Banabuiú – Russas, Touro – Ceará Mirim II and the substations Mossoró IV and Touros, in the states of Rio Grande do Norte and Ceará. The lines and substations are designed to sell wind power generation from the Alternative Source of Reserve Energy Auction for 2011 in order to increase the environmental, operational and socioeconomic benefits of these enterprises and promote integration with the National Interconnected System .
