The Lot C of the Transmission Auction No. 03/2012, conducted by the National Agency of Electrical Energy (ANEEL) on Friday (April 20th), was won by Hydroelectric Company of San Francisco (CHESF) for R $ 18,224,652.00, a discount of 30% compared to the Allowed Annual Revenue (AAR) initially established by the Agency. AAR is the revenue that the entrepreneur is granted with for the provision of transmission services from the date of entry into commercial operation of the facility.
Lot C consists of the transmission lines Pindaí II – Igaporã III, Igaporã II – III and the substations Pindaí II and Igaporã III, besides sectioning of the Bom Jesus da Lapa – Ibicoara transmission line in the state of Bahia. The objective is to encourage the inclusion of wind energy in the national energy matrix, in order to bring more benefits to the region of Bahia, in areas where transmission and subtransmission capacity is reduced.
