The Lot D of the Transmission Auction No. 03/2012, conducted by the National Agency of Electrical Energy (ANEEL) on Friday (April 20th) received no proposal for any company. CONSÓRCIO ITABIRITO-VESPASIANO, formed by Furnas (49%) and State Grid Holding Brazil, (51%) had no interest in bidding to win the lot.
Lot D is formed by transmission line Itabirito 2 – Vespasiano 2, in Minas Gerais. The purpose is to serve the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte more appropriately, avoiding overloads on circuits of the transmission and distribution systems and power cuts in emergency situations in the region.
