Today (5/2), the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) approved opening a public hearing aimed at discussing the regulation of procedures related to the White Rate for low voltage consumers, in terms of the “kz” parameter that comprises Module 7 of Tariff Regulation Procedures – PRORET.
PRORET 7.1 defines the relation between the Distribution System Utilization Tariff – TUSD beyond the White point and the TUSD for the conventional tariff – called the kz parameter – at 0.55. However, as a result of applying the new Tariff Structure methodology in tariff review processes, the agency identified the need to adjust the tariff relation and to make other adjustments in Module 7 – sub-modules 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 – and in Module 10 – sub-modules 10.1 and 10.2 of the PRORET.The Tariff Structure was approved by the agency in November of last year.Read more here
