The Board of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) approved last Wednesday (5/2) the declarations of public utility (DUP) of strips of land in the states of Piauí, Mato Grosso, Pará, Rio Grande do Sul, and Bahia.
In the state of Piauí, a DUP in favor of Companhia Energética do Piauí (CEPISA) included areas of land located in a strip twenty meters wide, required for the passage of the distribution line Buriti Grande – Valença, in a single circuit, at a rated voltage of 69kV, 66km long. The section is located in the municipalities of Ipiranga and Inhuma and should interconnect Substation Dom Expedito to Substation Valença.
In Mato Grosso, the company Centrais Elétricas Matogrossenses S.A. (CEMAT) was awarded a DUP for passage of the transmission line Pontes e Lacerda – Mina Ernesto, at 138kV, in the municipality of Pontes e Lacerda.
The company Pedra Branca S.A., in turn, also in Mato Grosso, was awarded a DUP for passage of the transmission line Pedra Branca – Sobradinho, at 230kV, which will interconnect Substation Pedra Branca to Substation Sobradinho, from Companhia Hidroelétrica São Francisco (CHESF) located in the municipalities of Sobradinho and Santo Sé, both in the state of Bahia.
The declaration granted to the company Atlântico Concessionária de Transmissão de Energia do Brasil Ltda. comprises a strip of land 40 meters wide for implementation of the Integration Transmission Line – Xinguara, in a single circuit, at 230 kV, 72km long, located in the municipalities of Canaã dos Carajás, Água Azul do Norte, and Xinguara (PA).
In Rio Grande do Sul, the DUP was granted in favor of AES Sul – Power distributor for implementation of the 2x69kV Transmission Line Roca Sales Connection – three-phase double circuit, at 69 kV, 2.26km long, which originates at LT 69kV Lajeado 1 – Encantado (Arroio do Meio) sectioning the LT to SE Manoel Viana, located in the municipalities of Arroio do Meio and Roca Sales, State of Rio Grande do Sul.
Also the area of land 4.79 hectares wide required for implementation of Substation Morro do Chapéu and its respective access road, located in the municipality of Cafarnaum, in the state of Bahia, was also declared of public utility, for purposes of expropriation, in favor of Companhia Hidroelétrica do São Francisco – CHESF.
