CNEE rate revision application is prevented by default

The executive board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) approved today (05/08) the final indexes of the third rate revision of distributor Companhia Nacional de Energia Elétrica (BSE), but the company cannot apply the index because it is in default with payment of fees of the industry. The decision of the Agency foresees that CNEE applies the rate approved in 2011 until they regularize their defaults

The company serves 100,000 consumer units distributed in 15 municipalities of Catanduva and Novo Horizonte (SP). The rates become effective from next Friday (05/10).

The average effect of the revision is 2.96% and will be applied differently by consumer class. Check the indexes:
