Today (5/8), the collegiate board of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) approved the final indexes for the third periodic tariff review for the utility Caiuá Distribuição de Energia S/A (Caiuá-D), however the company cannot apply the indexes because it is in default with sector charge payments.The Agency’s decision projects Caiuá’s use of the tariff approved in 2011 until it regularizes its default situation.
The average effect of the review is 7.6% and it will be applied in a differentiated manner per consumer class.See the indexes:
