Order No. 2344/2012, published in the Official Gazette on Monday (07/23), formalizes the universal declaration of 83 electricity distributors in Brazil. The matter was resolved at the 26th Ordinary Public Meeting of the Board of the National Agency of Electrical Energy (ANEEL), which was held on 07/17.
From the universalization, any request for assistance must comply with the terms and conditions established by the General Conditions of Supply – Ruling No. 414/2010, and may be also achieved through rural electrification programs implemented by the Federal Public Administration of the Federal District, the states or the municipalities.
18 other distributors, which are already universalized in the urban area, made themselves available to submit a proposal to revise their plan of universalization of rural area for analysis by ANEEL, according to what was established by Ruling No. 488/2012. (DJ / BT)
