The National Agency of Electrical Energy (ANEEL) will hold on Friday (07/27), starting at 2PM, public lottery of municipalities that participate in the evaluation of customer satisfaction on services provided by electricity distributors. The draw will take place in the CEPAT Auditorium, on ANEEL's headquarters in Brasilia (DF), and shall be forwarded by the Agency's site (www.aneel.gov.br).
This will be the 13th edition of the annual survey that determines the Index of Consumer Satisfaction of ANEEL (IASC). Interviews will be conducted with 19,470 residential customers of 475 municipalities located in the concession areas of 63 distributors. The period of application of the questionnaires is scheduled for August and September 2012.
The IASC works as an instrument for assessing quality from the perspective of residential consumers and provides subsidies for utilities to improve service delivery and also to assist in ANEEL’s activities monitoring and improving the regulatory process.
