DEC and FEC limits for energy permissionaires are in hearing

Fonte: ANEEL
The period for sending contributions to Public Hearing no. 075/2012 begins today (9/26) and extends to October 26. The objective of the hearing is to discuss the thresholds of the continuity indicators for the Equivalent Duration of Interruption per Consumer Unit – DEC and the Equivalent Frequency of Interruption per Consumer Unit – FEC for electricity public utility permissionaires from 2013 to 2016. Opening the hearing was approved last Tuesday (9/25) during a public meeting of the Board.

Permission contracts signed in 2008 project having the permissionaires fully meeting ANEEL regulations starting 2013.Consumers thus have the right to a given level of service quality, which is reflected in the tariff. If this level of quality is not reached, consumers should be reimbursed, as already occurs with the distributors.

According to the permission contract, permissionaires that signed contracts in 2008 should send ANEEL their DEC and FEC continuity indicators and physical-electrical characteristics that have characterized their sets of consumer units since 2010.

Contributions can be sent by e-mail:ap075_2012@aneel.gov.br, by fax (61) 2192-8839 or to the Agency’s address at SGAN, Quadra 603, Módulo I, Térreo, Protocolo Geral, CEP:70.830-030, in Brasília (FD).See below the DEC and FEC thresholds proposed in the hearing.(PG/DB)
