Fonte: ANEELThe National Agency of Electric Energy (ANEEL) in Brazil opens, today, (October 27th) a Public Hearing to make adjustments to the concession contracts and include terms related to the quality of transmission of electric energy in association with availability of facilities. The measure is the first determination of the Agency in relation to the Provisional Measure No. 579/2012. The Agency proposes to revise the Article 3 of Normative Resolution 270/2007 and set standards for the treatment given to concessionaries winners of bidding procedures and to those who sign the additive term for the extension of concession contracts.
Altogether, nine concession contracts of transmission, signed with Furnas, Copel, Eletronorte, Chesf, Eletrosul, CEEE, Cemig , CTEEP and CELG, will expire in 2015. These contracts cover over 85,000 kilometers of transmission network, which represent 67% of the National Interconnected System.
