The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica – ANEEL) performs this Friday (14/12) the auction No. 06/2012 (A-5) to purchase electricity from hydroelectric, wind and biomass fuel or gas combined cycle generation projects. The event, operated by the Chamber of Electric Energy Commercialization (CCEE), will be conducted via internet and will start at 10am at the headquarters of CCEE.
The beginning of the supply of the enterprises engaged is scheduled for January 1, 2017, with the closing of Contracts Energy Trading in a Regulated Environment (CCEAR) modalities by the amount of energy (water sources) with a term of 30 years and by availability (wind and thermal), lasting 20 years. In the case of hydropower, the winners will also receive the grant of concession for use of public property used to produce energy independent. In this auction, the highlight was the participation of the Sinop plant (400 MW). There are still projects located in the states of Piauí, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Pará, Amapá and Paraná.
In all, registered with the Empresa de Pesquisa Energética were 585 enterprises of electricity generation. Together, the plants have an installed capacity of 25,098 MW. See below reference prices of the ventures. (DB/PG)
