Lot A of Transmission Auction # 07/2012, held by the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) [Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica] this Wednesday (12/19), was auctioned by Abengoa Concessões Brasil Holding S/A. The company presented an offer in the value of R$ 145.6 million representing a negative goodwill of 28.6% in relation to the Allowed Annual Revenue (RAP – Receita Anual Permitida) predicted by the Agency in the value of R$ 204.2 million.
RAP is the revenue which the entrepreneur will have the right to for the transmission service starting from when the installations’ commercial operation starts.
Lot A is composed by four transmission lines and two substations located in the states of Tocantins, Piauí, Bahia and Maranhão which will contribute to the flow of the generation of the Belo Monte Plant.
