Copel Geração e Transmissão S.A auctioned Lot B of Transmission Auction # 07/2012, held by the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) [Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica] this Wednesday (12/19), with the value of R$ 5.8 million, representing negative goodwill of 5% in relation to the Allowed Annual Revenue (RAP – Receita Anual Permitida) predicted by the Agency in the value of R$ 6.1 million. RAP is the revenue which the entrepreneur will have the right to for the transmission service starting from when the installations’ commercial operation starts.
Lot B is composed by the Assis –Paraguaçu Paulista II Transmission Line and by the substation Paraguaçu Paulista II, in the state of São Paulo. The prediction for entering in commercial operation is of 22 months and there is an estimation of creation of 315 direct jobs.
