Consortium Paranaíba, formed by State Grid Brazil Holding, Copel Geração e Transmissão and Furnas Centrais Elétricas, auctioned Lot G of Transmission Auction # 07/2012, held by the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) [Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica] this Wednesday (12/19). The value offered was R$ 100.2 million, representing negative goodwill of 5,56% in relation to the Allowed Annual Revenue (RAP – Receita Anual Permitida) predicted by the Agency in the value of R$ 106,1 million. RAP is the revenue which the entrepreneur will have the right to for the transmission service starting from when the installations’ commercial operation starts.
Lot G is composed by the Barreiras II –Rio das Éguas, Rio das Éguas –Luziânia and Luziânia –Pirapora 2 Transmission Lines, located in the states of Bahia, Goiás and Minas Gerais. The prediction for entering in commercial operation is of 36 months and there is an estimation of creation of 3.200 direct jobs.
