The board of the National Agency of Electric Energy (ANEEL) decided on Friday (12/21), in an extraordinary public meeting, to start a public hearing to regulate the procedures for calculating the annual rate adjustment of permitting cooperatives of electricity distribution. The hearing is able to receive contributions as of today (12/26).
The hearing seeks grants and additional information to establish the methodologies to be applied in cases of rate increases by the cooperatives. The Agency's proposal addresses the general procedures of the annual rate adjustment; of calculations of the power acquisition costs and industry charges and financial components to be considered in the rates of these consumer cooperatives.
