In total, seven public hearings approved by the National Agency of Electric Energy (ANEEL) in 2012 remain open to receive contribuitions of energy consumers, agents and all the segments interested in participating in the discussions. The suggestions addressed are evaluated by the Agency’s technical areas, which draws up regulations and norms proposals to be submmited to the approval of the Board of Directors in the public meetings.
Subjescts such as suspension of payments owed by the energy distributors CELTINS (TO- Tocantins) e CEMAT (MT- Mato Grosso) of compensations due to the trespass of quality markers are in hearings, besides the bugdet of the Fossil fuel Cosume Bill- CCC for 2013.
The public hearing is a tool to support the decision process of the Agency, the wide consult of the society and preceeds the edition of norms and regulations. In many cases, the hearings can rely on the meetings for the presential manisfestation of the those interested. Other hearings are performed only through document exchange.
