The Indicative Regulatory Agenda for the biennium 2013-2014, which brings 70 topics submitted for improvements, to be discussed with society through public hearings and consultations is available on the website Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL). The agenda is an important tool for transparency in ANEEL’s performance as it allows citizens and agents to follow the Agency’s work and to participate in its decision-making process. Information will be updated whenever there is movement in the topic such as, for example, opening of a public hearing or approval of a resolution, among others.
The Regulatory Agenda was approved by the Board of ANEEL at the public meeting held on 12/11/2012. The document was at a public hearing from 10/11/2012 to 11/12/2012. During the period, ANEEL received 122 contributions of agents from the sector. Click here for a list of contributions and the documents relating to the approval process of the agenda.
Due to the indicative nature of the agenda, other topics relevant to the regulation of the electricity sector can be included in the schedule and the previously established planning of activities will be improved after the annual review and approval by the Board of ANEEL. (MR/PG)
