The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica – ANEEL) opens starting tomorrow (02/27) a public hearing to assess the contract alteration of the date for carrying out the annual tariff readjustment and the periodic tariff review for distributor Ampla Energia e Serviços S/A. The hearing, through documental exchange, was approved by the Agency’s board of directors in today’s public meeting (02/26) and will receive contribution until 03/08.
Ampla, which contract date of readjustments and reviews takes place on 03/15, requested to the Agency the alteration of this date to 06/30. The company claimed that the change will allow: the reduction of the Distribution Network Use Tariff paid by it to Light; the execution of the adjustment auction (A-0); the implementation of signaling mechanisms for the short term energy cost and the best estimate of the Difference liquidation price (PLD – Preço de liquidação de diferenças)*.
