The public hearing to assess the contract date for carrying out the annual tariff readjustment and the periodic tariff review for the distributor Ampla Energia e Serviços S/A was reopened by the board of directors of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL – Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica). The hearing through documental exchange, will receive contributions from 03/21 to 04/04.
The hearing’s reopening is necessary to evaluate the tariff impact of the recent alteration of Decree nº 7.945/2013. The suspension for 30 days of the tariff readjustment deliberation also made possible a complementary period for sending contributions to the hearing. The proposal is for the contract date of Ampla to be altered from March 15 to June 30, as requested by the distributor. See here.
